Tire Carrier Hub and Spindle Kit - Side Mount Double Shear

TIRE CARRIER PIVOT - Typically used in tire carrier applications this kit contains all the parts to build a strong and smooth pivot. Designed to be mounted on top of bumpers or other items. DOUBLE SHEAR - This is a double shear kit, this means that the spindle going into the hub is supported independently on both the top and bottom. Thus giving twice the shear strength of a single shear kit. Very important for heavy duty and offroad applications. SMOOTH OPERATION - Utilizing two tapered roller bearings this pivot will rotate smoothly even when under heavy load. Hub also includes a hole and grease zerk to ensure that you maintain smooth operations for years to come. HEAVY DUTY - The main structural pieces of the kit is made of 3/8" thick steel plate, the gussets are 1/4" thick steel plate. The spindles are machined from solid 1.25" OD steel rod.
